This plastic product meets ASTM #D6400-99, "Standard Specifications for Compostable Plastics", and is intended to be composted in a municipal or commercial facility operated in accordance with best composting management practices. Check to see if such a facility exists in your community.

Bags made of Mater-Bi Nf01U are approved for use in collecting leftover food from the food service industry and to be recycled into animal feed.

BioAgro and BioBag 3-240 Ltr are certified as a non-organic input factor that may be used in organic agriculture according to guidelines specified in detail in Debio's Regulation on Production and Labelling of Organic Agricultural Production.
